Nanoparticles
NANOGAP nanoparticles are manufactured by different processes than those used to produce AQC, and are composed of larger particles, typically in the size range of 5 to 50 nm. As with AQC, they can be prepared to a custom specification including particle size, surface functionalisation and choice of carrier fluid.
NANOGAP nanoparticles are currently available in silver and iron oxide. Silver nanoparticles are predominantly used as antimicrobial and conductive additives and iron oxide is used in magnetic applications
